Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Safetz LLC, doing business as Zinia Skye (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit ziniaskye.com (the “Site”), sign up for our free ebook, or subscribe to our newsletter, The Skye Brief. By using the Site, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

Safetz LLC, doing business as Zinia Skye, 11762 De Palma Rd., Suite 1C#549, Temescal Valley, CA 92883, United States. You can reach us at support(@)ziniaskye.com. Zinia Skye is a virtual, AI-created personality. The Site, its emails, and its content are operated by Safetz LLC and managed by Awnian Media Group, a trademark of Safetz LLC.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• ✦Your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it, when you sign up for the ebook or the newsletter.
• ✦Anything you send us when you contact us, including through the contact form on the Site: your name, email address, and the content of your message. We also see the IP address the message was sent from.

Information collected automatically

• ✦Your IP address and the page you signed up from, recorded when you submit a signup form.
• ✦The date and time you signed up and the date and time you confirmed your email address.
• ✦Basic technical information sent by your browser or device (such as browser type, device type, referring page, pages requested, and timestamps). This is recorded in server logs by our hosting infrastructure and by our content delivery and security provider.
• ✦Email interaction data may be recorded by our email system when you click links in our emails, such as the confirmation link and your personal download link.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the Site. Our content delivery and security provider may set or read cookies or use similar technology strictly to protect and deliver the Site (for example, to detect abuse). If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

3. How we use your information

• ✦To send you a confirmation email and, once you confirm, your free ebook and a personal download link.
• ✦To send you The Skye Brief, our newsletter, and related emails about Zinia Skye content. Signing up for the ebook also subscribes you to The Skye Brief. This is stated on the signup form.
• ✦To respond to your questions and requests.
• ✦To keep the Site and our systems secure, prevent abuse and spam (for example, by limiting the number of signups from one address), and troubleshoot problems.
• ✦To comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect our rights.
• ✦To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so that we can improve it.

4. Our legal bases (for visitors in the EEA, UK, and similar regions)

• ✦Consent: when you sign up and confirm your email address, you consent to receive the ebook and our newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
• ✦Legitimate interests: to secure and operate the Site, prevent abuse, and respond to you.
• ✦Legal obligation: where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.

5. Email, confirmation, and unsubscribing

We use double opt-in. After you sign up, we email you a link to confirm your address. We do not send you the ebook or newsletter until you confirm. Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending marketing emails and keep only your email address, marked as unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again by mistake. We may still send you messages that are necessary to deliver something you asked for, such as a confirmation email or a download link.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

• ✦Service providers that help us run the Site and send email, acting on our instructions. Today these include our server hosting provider, our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare), and our email delivery provider (Mail.Baby). Our newsletter and contact records are kept in a system that we host ourselves.
• ✦Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
• ✦A successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We would require the recipient to honor this policy or notify you first.

7. How long we keep information

• ✦Newsletter records: for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record (your email address marked unsubscribed) so we honor your choice.
• ✦Confirmation and download links expire after 7 days.
• ✦Server and security logs: only as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, and legal purposes.
• ✦You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below). We may keep what we are required to keep by law.

8. Your choices and rights

Everyone can unsubscribe using the link in any email, or ask us to update, correct, export, or delete their information by writing to support(@)ziniaskye.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the last 12 months we collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your name, email address, and IP address) and internet activity (such as pages visited and interactions with our emails). We collect it from you and from your browser or device, and use it for the purposes in Section 3. We do not sell or share (as those terms are defined in California law) personal information, we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable, because we do not sell or share); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can make a request at support(@)ziniaskye.com, or have an authorized agent make one for you. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83).

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and similar regions

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on appropriate mechanisms with those providers.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track you across other websites, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing, which does not apply to us today.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, rate limiting, and expiring personal links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to social media platforms and other sites we do not control (for example, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook). Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will take extra steps to tell you where the law requires it.
